Description
Black woolen shoulder shawl featuring the Al-Saa’ah embroidery motif blended with the Al-Sarw (Cypress) pattern from the heritage of Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Lydda and Ramle. Tall cypress columns with diamond motifs rise above the arched Al-Saa’ah panel and floral sprays, masterfully embroidered using traditional Falahi and Bratto stitches in royal indigo blue, lavender, pistachio green and mustard. The delicate addition of metallic couching (Qasab) in gold gives the embroidery a modern spirit, bridging heritage and contemporary fashion.
